I have had practically nothing but silver cars because of the lack of swirl marks, not looking dirty, visible at night etc etc
but there is something about that machine grey. Does it show many swirl marks at night under lights. Do rock chips show etc?

any info is appreciated over which to choose pros and cons

Our CX-5 is silver and our CX-9 is machine grey. Without a doubt, the silver requires the least amount of work to keep clean. I had the CX-9 paint corrected so no swirl marks but it does show dirt and water marks easily. I would say on the scale of things, it is better than Black, White or Eternal Blue but not as good as silver.
