THIS IS AUDIO VIDEO connector ?

some times when I put in reverse quickly is not visible the MAZDA warning line " PLEASE CHECK SORROUNDING FOR SAFETY " .

anyone try to put video signal for camera directly in these pins ? see picture

Thank you. But the output signal of CMU is video signal like backup camera or is different signal? Anyone know the typology of video signal? Anyone know the signal in all pins of the connectors? Power supply , GND , etc ? The wiring diagram of monitor is present in service manual ?

The back-up camera is a conventional analog unit that is digitized onboard.

communication between the CMU and the screen is a technology "Maxim GMSL"( i think! if somone could confirme)
it is interfacing over a single differential pair of wires.

Connector signals are shown on wiring diagrams, don't have the links off the top of my head but search the forum for CMU diagrams ( Here is one - http://mazda3revolution.com/forums/...iadance-after-stereo-upgrade.html#post1730922 and so on).

As other stated - camera signal is standard video NTSC

IF display accept video NTSC signal is possible insert a switch and use the display to see more camera , tv , mirror link etc..

The CMU reverse camera input will accept any valid video signal .... BUT the car would have to be in reverse (or the canbus signal spoofed into it I would guess) for the CMU to switch it onto the display. Think about it - when the car is in reverse and the camera is displayed there are control overlays generated by the CMU to adjust the screen properties. hi is not problem put the reverse with car in 1 2 3 4 5 or 6 to see a video signal for any source.backaup , front camera tv etc..
Not have idea if this situation cuse problem at the car ( electronic component , ABS or other devices )
Now I use this possibility for front camera when parking the car.
If I know the correct wire pins for video signal to input at display with a switch open the circuit and put at the monitor the video signal from TV , camera etc..
