Hi,
I'm using some of AIO tweaks and they are great.
It inspired me to think if it would be possible to add speedcams as you drive when you see them and started to work on a solution.
And there it is!
Recently I've developed TravelPal, a free App that presents travel data AND lets create custom Speed cameras on the fly and select speed limit. App will provide alert when you pass them again.
It works even if there's no Navi SD card. App uses well known list speedcam.txt if it exists or creates it's own. Redundant speedcams can be removed from the list.
The App works very well on my 2015 Mazda 6 with FW 56.00.100 EU.
It uses EU/US units and can be adapted to any local language by adding translation to lang file.
It would be great if anyone could try it on other cars in Europe and US.
App uses pure javascript and shell script to transfer data through websocket.
All necessary files to install and also some screenshots can be found on my github/pitrock2000, link:
GitHub - pitrock2000/TravelPal: Travel Info and User Speedcams for Mazda Infotainment System

Thanks to All who created original tweaks.
Please let me know your thoughts or questions.
I really despise the layout of Github. Sometimes the uploader on GH provides a direct link to download all the files via one single file, other times you have download each file individually and hope you downloaded them all.

What caught my attention is you mentioned you're using of the AIO tweaks? I'm just looking for a few tweaks that will enable Wi-Fi, but more importantly, disable the restriction for navigation where you must be stationary to manually enter a location.

If there's an AIO file that I can download that's essentially like a Windows .bat file where you just select it and it will do the rest. Please let me know. There's too many opportunities for errors doing it another way, especially for an old guy like me.
One thing bothers me at this offer... for this official AA/CP you need to install any FW 70 or higher. But if you have FW 31 - 56.00.100 NA Mazda officially recommends to install 70.00.100 first, before updating to a higher version (like 70.00.367 or 74.00.230). And this they do not tell you in their offer. So I would check which version I have installed. If it is between 31.00.100 - 56.00.100 I would install 70.00.100 first, before updating to a higher version, which maybe is on their offered usb stick. Just saying, that you can avoid problems with or even bricking your CMU.
And if you have a version installed below 31.00.100 then update to that one first.
Is there anywhere here on the site that has version 70.00.100? I think the dealer wants around $50 to install the update.

INDEX FOR THE INFOTAINMENT PROECT can be found here:

Index for Infotainment Project

ONLY USE IT AS A REFERENCE. ALL QUESTIONS AND COMMENTS REGARDING THE INFOTAINMENT PROJECT SHOULD BE POSTED HERE.

So, the Infotainment system is great, but it has me thinking how much greater it could be. There's so much potential wasted right now, and I would like to untap some of that.

The original post: Infotainment System Software Components.
This got me thinking. This is obviously a linux-based OS running on an ARM chip. This was seen on this post as well: Accessing the Infotainment Diagnostics Menu

I'm a software engineer, but don't have any experience dealing with low-level linux based systems. I would love to be able to either install custom, modified linux operating systems in the car or just be able to alter parts of the system to enable hidden or disabled parts of the system.

For instance, every european market has the ability to buy connected services (live traffic, weather, etc), and the Japanese market even can play DVD's and watch live TV!

This may at least give us the ability to upgrade our own systems without visiting the dealer, or use other applications through our phones such as Waze.

What I think may help here is getting the update code dump. This would be solved easiest if someone knows a dealer that can get the update software on a USB stick. If someone could upload that somewhere, we could then start analyzing the update procedure and the software and hopefully fine some way to hijack onto that process.
Great work!

hello, hopefully you can help,
I have a Mazda 3 2020 North America I found the factory CD Player from Europe, I need to enable cd functions on CMU.
I also have a CMU from Europe with CD Player Enabled, my question is can you extract cd player software from it and install it on the other?
and same question for BOSE software (can you extract software from one and install to the other)

Hey guys, a 2014 mazda owner is here,

For a while (1-2 years) I don't have touch screen working, however this was not an issue for me. Recently I bought the official android auto & carplay devices. Now I'd like to bring my touchscreen back, however i realized AIOTweaks did not do the trick. Investigating around, i suspect content of my

Code:
/etc/wayland/compositor.conf
file is not correct. So asking, if anybody around has the

Code:
/etc/wayland/compositor.conf.org
file. I can compare content to see if that is OK or not. Please reply to thread or DM me if you have information & the file itself

Best,

Just as info some facts, as I doubt that you have an incorrect/corrupted file: At official AA touch does not work at all and can not be activated. Touch while the car stands still is working for CP only (from factory). Via AIO Touch Tweak installation the touch while car is moving can be activated.

Yeah that makes sense, my firmware is updated& i have the new usb hub, but i want to solve touch issue before installing new parts. That’s why im investigating. If somebody just can share original of the file, i can proceed from that

Guys, does anybody knows if I upgrade to a new version or downgrade, does it override all filesystem in cmu, or only overriding the jci folder. Because I suspect my issue is out of jci folder so resetting it will help a lot for me

Would anyone be able to provide the password for the .up file (or instructions on how to get it)? I am trying to dump the firmware for some exploration but it seems like the only way to find it is to already have ssh access to the system. Thanks!
