I just installed the US version of the digital speed-o and have a couple of requests/questions?

- Allow us to scroll to the button as I hate touching my screen

- How do I remove this so I can edit some png files and reinstall it? Didn't realize it was the factory "red" color. Thanks!

Another question, what prevents us from making the speed-o app display at the top (or bottom!) of the applications menu under something like Digital Speedometer instead of the icon? I think that way we could simply scroll to it with our wheel. I just *really* hate touching the screen.

Hi, I've just install Diginix's tweak (kmh version 3.4 without video player), no problem during installation, have the message that succefully installed and need to reboot. Reboot with BACK+NAV+MUTE and ..... nothing in Application. I've tryed 3 times, always the same. I've a CX-5 with lastest european firmware version, cmu150_EU_56.00.230A.
I've already installed other tweaks like new background, warning message timer and there's no problem with them.
Someone already install Diginix's tweak on the same firmware revision ?

In application there's a small circle on the bottom of the screen, use the touch screen to launch it.

Hi, it is these lines in tweaks.sh:

# disable/enable touchscreen mod: enable = mod off, disable = mod on
/jci/scripts/set_lvds_speed_restriction_config.sh disable
/jci/scripts/set_speed_restriction_config.sh disable

Change both "disable" to "enable", then reload the tweak bundle, and that should do it.

On the speedo app is it possible to tone down the resolution of the dial, say to a maximum of 120MPH? I don't think many of us will be taking our cars above that speed. I know after 3rd gear at about 90MPH into 4th there's just not much power left and 5th and 6th are both overdrive gears. I have the 2.5L/6MT combo btw, it's just not powerful above 90MPH. At least not without a tune.

I'd love to see the application modified to a max of 120MPH so the resolution is bigger and the dial doesn't move as easily.

For that, the whole graphic of the dial needs to be redesigned. Also 120 values for each speed have to figure out new. This should be done by a US driver. Unfortunately for me as kph user, there is no benefit.

Do you think that it would be possible to have the navigation map instead of the top speed, altitude and other information on the right part of the screen?
Thanks for all your work guys and if there is a way to help ($$) developpers and defend your work I'm with you!

Hi I did it with a 4gb usb stick formated fat32. I've been told not to use a usb stick with more than 8gb.

Just tried with 4 differents USB Stick of 8Gb and finally with the last one it works but the Force is with it, Star Wars Dark Vador USB Stick

I find as a Mac user I have to parallels into Windows to make my USB sticks. I'm using an old 2GB that came with Forza Motorsport 3 (October 2009) lolol. Something about Mac leaves invisible files on the stick which prevents install.sh from running.

I think someone would have to basically rewrite the Navigation program to be able to display it with another program. It would take a lot of work to make the two apps display together.
It would be beyond the scope of these projects.

Maybe one day Mazda will do something similar.

I agree the Speedometer and Video Player are very cool. Many thanks to all that have contributed to it's development. It has been a great work in progress application that many have enjoyed.

Today I had a flash of inspiration to come quickly to a mph version of my speedometer with 120 mph as max.
I need some free time to get a proof of concept. So maybe this week there will be an update.

Also my date-to-statusbar version will get an update. The font size is increased by one and position is 1px downward. This should be better readable on any passenger position.

Is here someone who knows what other values we can get from ECU?
