I know muffler deletes are relatively controversial in the car community (as are most things lets be honest), but i tried it anyways because to get a y-pipe is hundreds of dollars cheaper than an aftermarket exhaust. Here is a video of the process me and my friend went through to test it as well as how it sounded. I was pleasantly surprised with the sound, it was a lot better than i was expecting. i hope this video provides a bit of info for people looking to do aftermarket exhaust, to help them decide which route to take. thanks for watching!

Nice test! It doesn't sound too obtrusive; and by deleting the muffler there's weight savings to be gained.
However, I would be interested in knowing how bad it drones on the freeway.
