Hey guys,
I picked up a 2015 m3 2.5 GT about two weeks ago and i love the look of the taillights with the appearance package..but I'm not a big fan of the red. Maybe i am one of the few, but I'm not a big fan of the all red lights. I had a 2011 m3 gt and i tinted the red parks of the taillights and kept the chrome and it looked sick, imo. I want to do the same thing to the new car, tinting the red parts but leaving the circle and the trapezoid chrome. I used the Nightshades spray on the old three, and i think it turned out pretty well, and I'm not a big fan of using actual tint because if its too dark the cops in upstate ny will pull me over for sure (happened to a lot of my friends), and it is just too big of a pain in the ass for me.
Does anyone have any ideas on how i should cover the circle?
theres no way i could use masking tape and just cut the edges around the circle like i did for my old 3's lights.. cutting out a perfect circle would be impossible haha
For reference, heres a pic of the old 3's taillights that i tinted, and a pic of the new lights i want to tint.. Thanks guys!
