I'm looking at putting some Autolumination switchback LED bulbs in to replace my front turn blinkers, I'm wondering if anybody has done this, or replaced their front turn blinkers with another kind of bulb? Just trying to figure out how hard it would be to do...looking around with my hood popped the front headlights look a little tricky to get at...especially the front turn indicators as the bulb comes up from below and is vertical.

I've done this on other cars, not the 3... so I can't help you too much there. However, switching out the bulbs might be as easy as getting underneath from the wheel well and removing the liner or maybe even having to remove the bumper... I'll let someone else help you with that.

However, that being said.. if you do decide to get the switchback bulb make sure you purchase a resistor as well for each side. You'll have to find a place to mount this but it keeps from having the rapid blinking, unless of course you don't mind fast blinking signals.
