i still got that rattle in the front driver side, changed out front endlinks, LCA, struts, serviced calipers/replaced hardware replaced front pads... bushing is next.

from working on the car so far I hate every bit of this generation (other than the strut bolts, in retrospect gen 2 was a pain with their pressfit collar), why did Mazda have to install the sway bar with the bolts insert top down.

I think i can get to the front and ratchet away bit by bit, but the rear seem like I have to remove the springs again...

I am thinking Mevotech rubbers for the front, and poly for the back. Already have the Siberian bushing standingby, just getting to it looks like more pain...

anyone tackled this? would a electric ratchet be easier?

edit: Skyactiv more like "cheaply made" and annoying to service.

A long ratcheting wrench and a 6" extension for the front.

The rears are a PITA.. dropping the rear subframe makes it a ton easier to fit a torque wrench in there.. otherwise you need a mid-length socket and a smallish ratcheting wrench (not enough space to fit a deep socket over the nut). A ratcheting open end wrench with a flex head might work too.

Springs.. the spring seat and strut top mount are known to make noise. Mazda even did a TSB for 2014 models where a spring cover was released for the top where it meets the mount. Part # pe01-13-363.

strut top mount was replaced with the KYB version along with whole wack of stuff...

spring seats, i've always thought this was part of the suspension lol. The airbox is rattling abit, i can get it to move by hand. will do that next, thx!

Update*: strut top nut came loose, this was the cause of the rattling, issue resolved.
