One of my rear shocks is leaking on my 2010 2.5L hatch and needs to be replaced.
I received a quote from my shop for almost $250 per shock plus $160 for rear shock mounts (and $130 labor).

So for almost $800 for just returning to stock, Is there a better (cost effective) aftermarket solution? (Maybe Koni Str.T?)

I am not necessarily interested in lowering, but I would not mind a slight drop.

I am also located in Ontario, Canada so shipping is sometimes an issue for online shopping.
Thanks

Would they work well with stock springs or would lowering springs be necessary?
Lots of racers and time-attackers use stock springs with upgraded dampers. You'll be fine. The dampers by themselves will make a huge performance difference.
