I've had my springs installed for about 1.5 years now. Ever since I installed them I heard this mild creaking noise from my front passenger strut. This happens only when turning my wheels in either direction. It has run fine otherwise without any issues, but the noise is finally starting to get to me and I'd like to fix it before I hand my car off to family while I'm out of the country. Is this a matter of my spring not sitting in the strut correctly? I am on stock struts. Or is it just noise under compression? What's my best way to diagnose this problem and solve it? If it's something else I'd like to be able to fix without having to go rent spring compressors and take a day off to fix it.

Its probably your upper strut mount. When I had my springs switched out for lowered Racing Beat springs, I heard a creaking as well when turning the wheel when the car was stopped or at low speeds. Once it was replaced, the noise was gone
