im gonna change my setup a bit. im getting codes for running lean and i check identafix for the causes and it says their either leaks or the maf is busted, bla bla bla. i checked all the symptoms that could cause the codes and there is none so the only thing is my maf isnt reading all the air thats moving through my intake, since its an off brand crap CAI and the way the piping is i believe the air is vortexing in the intake, id like some suggestions on a short ram intake, preferably under $150. id also like a full engine back exhaust that DOES NOT SOUND RICE. any suggestions would be great

corksport and cobb both make good short rams for these cars

alright. how bout the weapon r intake? is it worth it?
never used weapon r, that's more of a non brand specific one and a lot of ricr Honda guys use them and it sounds terrible and doesn't seem to do much on their cars, I would think the same for us. the corksport one I had on my 08 and it added a small growl but nothing ricey or too loud. k &n would be better choice if you don't want the other 2 brands I mentioned as they warranty their stuff well and it does actually do something, all are very small improvements anyhow as if you look at where your car takes in air it already gest it from right at the grill where it sucks cooler air then the engine bay and cooler air is more dense meaning it can put a different mixture in the system and usually more power, but it depends on how well it is designed the corksport short ram I don't feel really did much for top end surge but did help with overall throttle feel and response and seemed to help low end take off a small bit. it is your car and money so its really up to you.
