Please forgive me, I don't know too much about cars honestly.

I have a 2010 Mazda 3, it's automatic but it's a very basic model otherwise. Occasionally, the a/c or possibly the fan won't blow at full power even at the highest setting. What is even stranger about this is that about 20-40 minutes later, I can very obviously tell it "comes back to life", working exactly as it should.

My normal mechanic couldn't figure it out. Any tips here? Thanks!

Have you changed the cabin filter recently?

blower motor resistor failing or coated in dust causing poor contact with electrical connections needed to change resistance to change fan speed as above when was the last time you change the cabin air filter? if not done regularly this can happen
