Although not a recall, thought you guys might like this.

Storage bin between the seats, one of the hinge pins broke on me. Thought I'd try to get this under warranty... Turns out that the part has been revised for known failures. My dealer even has this in stock which says something.

Waiting for the repair as I write this

BTW car is a 2015 mz3 gs. Not sure if other years are affected.

Turns out that the hinge pins can slide out of position, mine didn't actually break. I'd imagine that there is a tsb for this somewhere...

I thought one of the pins just broke! And I was told they fastened it back in place, but there was no mention of a TSB being performed on my vehicle in Southern Ontario, Canada! It was repaired for free though. (April 2014 bought)
