I'm wondering if anyone have gone through with powdercoating the stock rims, particularly going for the gunmetal look. I hear anthracite would be the best option to go for if looking for that gunmetal look. If you have pics of any powdercoated stock rims please post. Thanks!

Also convince me if I shouldn't go with powdercoating and why if you believe there is a reason not to go with it and just buy new rims. Thanks again!

I'm planning to plasti dip my rims in Anthracite soon. I already have all the sprays:

- 2 coats of black plasti dip as base coat
- 2 coats of Anthracite plasti dip as mid coat
- 2 coats of glossifier

I can post pics once I'm done but it won't be for another few weeks as I'm currently injured.

Here's the pic that convinced me to go Anthracite:
