I'm still confused about something regarding the trip meter A and B and how it relates to fuel economy screen. Hopefully, you guys can clear a few questions for me
The Infotainment fuel economy monitor screen is split into 3 sections:
The third section represents the exact same value as the "current fuel economy" in the dashboard's trip computer, correct? The second section, which are the "start" and "end" points for each of the 6 travels? When does it start count the average and when does it stop?
As for the current average in the fuel economy history, it represents the "average fuel economy" in the dashboard's trip computer, yes? But I'm confused about that value on my dashboard... Say I leave the car in the garage for the night, when I start the car in the next day, will that value start at 0 or it will continue from the last value? How does it decide it's a new trip? If it doesn't start at 0, what does it mean then? It's counting the average since when? My last reset? How does this relate to the "current" value in the fuel economy history screen then?
There's also the function which synchronizes the fuel economy monitor with the trip meter A... Now I'm even more confused. What does this mean exactly? Which values will be synced, which won't? What happens if I have this option enabled but I'm displaying trip B or the odometer? What will all the trip computer values mean? Will they be different across trips because I have the sync to trip A option enabled? I tried this once and it didn't seem like it... If not, what exactly is this sync for?
As you can see I'm really confused by all of this. And I just want to understand exactly what all these values mean. Please, explain like I'm five...
