I am hearing a squeaking noise when the clutch is engaged in while in first, 2nd, and third at low speeds. The squeak gets louder when I give the car quick gas, but doesn't make a noise when stopped or when the car is out of gear (making me thing that it is not an engine mount issue).

The noise is especially loud when I have a less than perfect start ( doesn't happen too often, but the clutch is a little hard to work with) or I am creeping along at "impulse power" and quickly apply the throttle. As I said though, it only happens in gear and it doesn't matter if the road is smooth or bumpy.

I think it is the clutch or a related component, but I'm not really sure, it is definitely coming out of the front in the engine bay area. Anyone having a similar issue? btw, my car is a 2010 with 16,000 on the odo.

i've done release bearing/throw out for rattle, squeak but this actually sounds more line a metal collar rubbing or isolator rubbing on strut perch but hopefully if i have more time i'll know.

I just started hearing this same issue on my 2010 with 26k. Just like the op described.

Seems like if you're real soft on the gas and with shifting it won't make the noise. I'm thinking it's a transmission mount, since it only makes the noise when the motor is rocking back and forth.

For example, if you're going down a hill and in gear 1-3 with the rpms around 2k and kind of get on and off the gas a bit so the motor rocks, thats when it does it

H.P. I see this post is from over a year ago. Have you figured out the issue?

Thanks in advance
