Just recently a problem occurred where something in my suspension is squeaking(like rusty springs in an old mattress) really bad. At low speeds you can hear it pretty badly; it disappears when I accelerate but as soon as I lift my foot of the gas it comes back. I have had corksport lowering springs installed (on stock stuts) for about 5 years so i thought maybe it could be a complication from that, but i'm not sure where to even start to diagnose a problem. It also seem like the car has been bottoming out more now on bumps as well, but that could be all in my head. I rarely drive the car as i only have a little over 64,000 miles since 2014. Any ideas?

Could be anything at this point, you'll need to do a check over the entire suspension. Use a large screwdriver to check the ball joints and other joints for play. The swaybar links should turn on their ball by hand, but should not be overly loose or have any play. Check the struts for any leakage, push down on both ends of the car hard and watch the return. It shouldn't bounce.

See if you can reproduce the noise by pushing down on either end, might help you identify the source.

Since you're using lowering springs and I'm guessig stock struts, its possible that the struts have been worn out prematurely. The stock struts are designed to work with stock springs, not the lowering springs.

Get a can of spray lube and soak the sway bar mount bushings. Dry bushings make the sounds you describe.
If the noise is still there spray around the top and bottoms of the springs. If you don't have coil isolators the springs will squeak.

Yeah, sounds like the rear sway bar bushings. I just greased mine and got rid of the exact noise being described.

The noise only occurred when my rear tires would go over speed bumps, since I take them at an angle and the tires hit the bump at different times.

The white grease supplied by Progress didn't last very long. I got some Mobil 1 bearing grease and went to town on the camber arm joints and sway bar bushings. Worked perfectly.

thanks ill try that out. Since it increased with acceleration i thought it could have been a drivestrain issue. Hopefully not
