Hello everyone! What are your opinions on BC Racing Coils for our 2018 Mazda 3? Also, As per the original post BC Racing coils does not fit as is and needs new bolts, etc., is it still true to this day or has this issue been resolved already by BC Racing?

this might be a stupid question, but I'm gonna ask anyway: are there any negative effects if I were to keep the OEM springs up front, but change out the rears for say, Eibach's? I only really want to close the wheel gap in the rear

Subtle rake most would aim for....Reverse rake? Hmmm...why not just load some weight in the trunk?

2014 Mazda3 i SV sedan successfully LIFTED with installation of 2016 CX-3 front springs and 2014 CX-5 rear springs. (All other suspension components unchanged.)

I know most will want to lower their Mazda 3, but for the few who are looking to LIFT theirs, check this out..

Lift = ~ 7/8” front lift & ~1-1/4” rear lift.

Ride is a bit firmer but WAY better handling! 25%? stiffer in front, 40%? stiffer in back & now the car can run A/T tires and comfortably tow light loads..

Never posted before, but I couldn’t find this information anywhere.. I researched solutions and this worked! Vehicle weight, spring rate, and spring mount compatibility guided Search. I’m sure people who think they know math will say why they think this is a bad idea (too stiff; stress to other components; buy a truck; etc.), but have they actually BEEN POOR, stuck with a Mazda3 & In NEED of AN AFFORDABLE SOLUTION? Critics: have you ever actually tried this?!? More effective and more subtle than you might think. It works great!

if you are looking to lift a Mazda 3 about an inch (or to criticize this mod) try swapping the springs as described.. easy.

Do you know the spring rates of those you're referencing by chance? If this is your car, you mind posting a pic? TIA!

I won't wanna know why ...but Tema has a 30mm PU spacer kit you might wanna look into.

My 2014 mazda3, and I love it, is a little low for my well disabled wife and mother in law who drive it the most these days. It's got 220k on it and still runs like new. I'd like to lift it for them, and put bigger tires on it if possible for more lift. Nothing insane, really trying to complete a total of 1-1.5 inches in lift. If I could get cx5 wheels and tires in there it would be ideal. But that would require a bit of offset to make it happen.

Understood, good sir. I did this on a gen2 RAV 4 that had developed too much front droop for my liking. Instead of PU out front, I had them milled in metal to keep alignment in spec longer... without the worry of uneven deformation. The rears, PU will be fine. They're exposed to less stress. Why not try the TEMA kit out? Just a fraction of either longer springs or coilovers

So I wanna lower my 18' MZ3 a little. Probably max 1.4 in front and what ever the matching on the back without completely ruining the comfort of the ride. Would the Eibach PRO-KIT be the best bet for that?
