I hope someone can lead me to some kind of conclusion on this weird phenomenon. So, sometimes when I start my 2014 Mazda3 (doesn't matter with a warm or cold start), it smells like someone opened up a can of spray paint. It's a really alcohol-like smell. I would say it happens every 1/100 starts if I were to put a number to it. None of my car's performance is hindered by this at all but I don't like it one bit. I imagine it could be fuel fumes getting into the cab but I find that weird because it doesn't happen everytime, and in fact it's rare. Any ideas?
