Hi
I'm considering getting a Mazda 3 2.2D sport NAV..

My only concern is the engine size when most of my mileage is on local roads...

Can anyone advise what they get in the model on normal local roads?

Thanks

My 2.2D Revolution NAV now in summer in City is 7,7 l/100km, in winter is 7,0 l/100km, on open road is around 5 l/100km, on highway at 150-160km/h is 8,5 l/100km

Thanks. I'm converting the value to MPG which works out around 48 miles per gallon.

Which is ok, but not great compared to other cars..

Well, if you check real people MPG for the new VW golf 7 in the same range of HP you get similar value, so I think we are fine this way.

When my gf is driving, (50% city and 50% light highway) she is now getting 5.5l. She is getting 6.1l if she feels like more spirited driving.

When I drive it on highways, country roads - I get a combined 6.1l. When driving 140-150 km (which feels in this car like 120 km in other cars, you have to be careful :) ) I get around 6.5-7l.

This car is a pleasure to drive and real mpg is comparable with other cars, keep in mind it is a biturbo 2.2.
