My speedo is out by 4 - 5 kilometers or 2 - 3 miles. Im running stock wheels and factory tyres.

Does anyone else have this issue? And have you had any luck correcting it?

Cheers

Sound about right, actually. There's a margin of error and can't be dead on considering tire wear. I believe they're supposed to read a little fast.

I know its out because it doesnt match up with gps speedos or roadside speed check stations. The speedo reads 4kms faster than what im actually doing.

Not sure if the dealer will touch it, thats why im keen to see if anyone had tried already. Nissans policy was it had to be atleast 8kms out before they'd do anything under warranty.

Mine is off about 1-2 mph according to the gps. My previous cars were about the same too, think my maxima was off by 2-3 miles.

It's not unusual for a speedo to be off by about 10%. I've never had a car that was 100% accurate.

It sux a bit though. If i go with the traffic sitting on 4kms over the car warns me to "reduce your speed".
