This may be a dumb question, but I have never had satellite radio before. I realize I get 6 months free, but is there anything special I have to do when activating the esn? I am about to activate via the sirius website and it has a spot for a promo code after entering the esn, so I wasn't sure if I needed a special promo code to get the 6 months free? Thanks.

No, no promo code. Your free subscription will expire in six months, and then you can renew it on your own credit card if you want to.
