CS. They actually keep a stock of the parts on hand and will ship them out when you place an order.

Ordered the JBR short shift kit 3 weeks ago... got a quick response that they were out of the product and it will be one to two weeks to ship.. two weeks pass... I e-mail them and get a response 3 days later that it will be a few more weeks..

I guess we will never know how they compare, since JBR doesn't have any.

That's what I thought. I was looking forward to comparing the two products and mentioned that to the person that agreed to refund my money. It wasn't fair that I was paying interest (credit card payment) on a product that didn't even exist yet..which is why I requested the refund.

Supposedly they are milling them now, but are behind schedule and don't know when they will get more. They should update the product page on their website though to let customers know they are out of stock. Not fair of them to collect payments and sit on customer's money.

No complaints. The CS kit offers 20% and 30% shorter shifts and the JBR one offers 20% and 40% shorter throw options.

I was just curious how they compare since it's a pretty cheap mod that it is a quick install.

I ordered my JBR shift kit May 25 and also was told there will be a 1 week delay. Nothing as of today.

Yeah. I cancelled my order. I couldn't justify paying interest on a payment for a part that doesn't even exist yet.

I asked that they inform me when more come in and I'll re-order then and got a "Will do." back from someone named Tesla.

P.S. Shifter base bushings and the short shift kit are two worthwhile mods for anyone with a manual transmission. Feels far more solid and smooth when working the shifter.

It also requires less movement on your part, which my right arm really appreciates when I'm stuck in traffic and need to make a lot of gear shifts.

Yeah, mine is working perfectly after a year of use.

The only issues I've ever had with shifting were due to human error and not anything to do with the CS Shift Kit.

It's a super simple install and makes a big difference.

Just got an email saying my JBR short shift kit was shipped (finally). Ordered late May.

Yeah, they e-mailed me this morning to let me know they are back in stock again. :)

Of course I just dumped a bunch of money on brake pads and rotors... ugh... Gonna need to wait a bit before buying it now.

JBR Short Shift Kit

Installed the JBR Short Shift Kit this morning, took a leisurely 90 minutes...
The instructions from JBR's web sight were spot on
I set it for the 20% increase for now & I am very pleased with the action and the length of throws
Money well spent!

Nice! Go for the 40% setting and you will love it.

Did you get the shifter base bushings and the shifter cable bushings?

They help a lot too.
