I've had this same issue but it looks more like someone took sandpaper to it. Also interested in a cure.

Have you guys tried Meguiar's PlastX ??

I have used it to polish the clear plastics for different cars, mine isn't too scratched yet, but I think later I will need to use it.

Subscribing to this thread, for inspite of being forwarned and being super, super careful (extra detailer/new microfibers), have very light scratches on my piano black too.

I don't believe there is. i Hated the piano black details in my RX8 and even more now.
I bought some cheap wrap to just cover them up. There are replacement options but they are all in RHD.
