My 2011 Mazda 3 has 167k miles on it. It has been having some issues with a slightly rough idle, and an even rougher time accelerating from a stop. I saw a recommendation to try the seafoam intake cleaner....

And wow. The car is running like it is brand new! All of the power I have been missing is back and the engine is quiet as could be. When I stopped at a stop sign, I thaught I stalled because it was so quiet! But I hit the gas and it took off with all the little 2.0s might.

So if anyone is having some power issues with their car, I would 10/10 recommend trying the seafoam intake cleaner. One thing to keep in mind is it did throw a CEL, but I wasn't worried for a second. After taking it for a 20 minute drive to work out the rest of the carbon, hooked up my obd2 reader, cleared the code and good as new. One code I did still get was for over rich fuel injectors. I'm sure that'll go away within a day since some of the oil is still working its way out.
