So i decided that i wanted to tint my taillights. I went to the internet to see what products were recommended and which ones were flukes. I came across Rustoleums Lens Tint Peel Coat and it had about 50/50 on the reviews so i was hesitant but what the hell. The can was $6! You can't beat that lol. So i came home, washed the car, cleaned the tails and made sure they were dry and free of any debris. Set some paper around the lights to avoid mists of paint hitting the body and began the painting. I'll have some photos attached. I have to say that they are decent. Im not going to preach about them but they did the job. Again, $6 lol. VHT nyteshades is a great product that i heard about and i kind of feel like i should've used it instead but ehh. If anyone wants to slap some photos of their taillight tint jobs and what they used, that would be cool. Thanks.

looks good ! you should plasti dip your emblems black, I think it will compliment those blacked out tails.

Totally! I was thinking maybe a glossy black? I still have some matte black plastidip leftover from when i did my hubcaps. So ill probably use that but haven't decided lol

Looks good. How many coats did you apply? Did you also put clearcoat on top of it?

I used 4 coats and no clear coat. I couldnt find any that would go hand and hand with the rustoelum product that i used. I bought it at walmart
