Yeah, don't do that. That terminal is already used by a stock car component, and it appears to be fused in the terminal block. Drawing extra power on that terminal is likely to blow that fuse.

You could connect it using the nut&bolt that is used to hold the entire block on the battery terminal (on the right of the battery terminal.)

I attached it also to the starter terminal (to the 200A fuse). And then the wire goes to a seperate 80A fuse.
No problems so far. And I dont had to damage the plastic cover.
