I like the front of your car. Is it paint or plasti dip? Looks good
Thanks and yes it is plasti-dip. It was such a pain to get on though. had to keep removing the tape after every coat and it still doesn't look great. I will probably end up redoing it. But thanks for the compliment. Have a great holiday season :clown:

The way I did it was just one go and kept building up the layers and it turned out perfectly for me and then I quickly tore off the pain after I went over everything 5 or 6 times with the last layers being pretty thick! Just don't stop spraying except to readjust your position!

Haha idk man. I feel like that would cause the paint to run but I'm sure you are probably a little more talented at it than I am. :blush 1:

Now now! I wouldn't say that! I believe that it was a pretty hot day out when I did it so if you did all light coats they would be more solid than runny! It was a pain in the ass taping though... Definitely agree...

Just out of curiosity @DAYTEK, what did you use to make your hood black?
I used plasti dip (mistake #1) and the rattle can form of it (mistake #2) so it turned out stripy... But I'm planning to replace it with gloss black vinyl in the summer, bugs me so much! I think my summer rims look good with the plasti dip but nothing bigger than rims or like a gas cap looks good with rattle can plasti dip IMO

Oh dude that sucks but from what I have read you cant really go wrong with vinyl. Got two questions for you. Since you are such a fan of plasti-dip have you done your rear valence (I have and must say that it looks awesome with black plasti-dip), second have you done any interior work with vinyl/plasti-dip? I'm looking to update the silver trim of the interior.

I was planning to try them in white because I had seen someone's in black, might have been yours! I haven't ever used vinyl so it'll be an experience doing my car, I myself was also planning to do all the interior with white plasti dip! I need to be able to air my car out if I'm doing that so I'm waiting for the long winter to end....

That's a good point about airing it out. My biggest fear is using plasti-dip on the inside of the car :no: I just don't want to get it on everything

@DAYTEK

I just realized after looking at your albums (sorry creeper :stuart:) that you are the person who gave me the idea to plastdip the front lip. Thanks so much man!!!!!
At earliest I probably be doing it in May! And I'll be doing mine white like my car! That and I'll have a lot of blue lighting going on in my car hahaha can't contradict the lighting! Actually?? No way! Not a problem! Your lip looks really good! I think it creates a much more aggressive look, I know I love mine!

While we are on the topic of customizing, where did you purchase your led interior kit for the footwells and how much of pain was it to install?
Lol, walmart hahahaha it actually wasn't that bad the way I did it! Mine came with a switch to turn it off, change colours and change the brightness so I didn't have to do any special wiring, the little DC plug in infront of the shifter in that little cubby I never use can be unplugged if you open that area and then I took the wires from my thing and put them in the positive and negative spots! That plug in isn't always running so I thought it'd be perfect for it! And now my controller is just right by my knee!
