Resume Playback From USB Stick Issues

OP here. So since the update including Android Auto I have not had the resume playback issue anymore. However, I have had a new issue present itself instead. When I play songs through USB it will randomly stop playing and say something like 'loading' before it resumes the song again. It happens about every 10 minutes and it probably more frustrating than the resume playback issue.
