Replace Disc Rotors & Brake Pads Or Wait?

Hi,

Today I received my DBA T2 Slotted Front Rotors & my Power Stop Z23 Brake Pads. :)

My stock brake pads and disc rotors have already approx.16500KM on them, I'm driving lately very spirited, pushing the brakes harder than usual, haven't check if they are worn out completely which I don't think they are since braking still feels pretty much OEM to me. Although on the front left disc rotor I can see a big circular deep "scratching" line on it.

So, the question is very simple should I replace the disc rotors now and have the DBA Rotors and Z23 Brake Pads Installed, or should I wait until i really "need" to replace them?

Thanks for your feedback.

Waste of money? No. Brake upgrades are never a bad thing.
Check the brake pad on that wheel. It may be worn down enough to gouge the rotor. Look for damage to the pad also. If something did actually manage to get between the pad and rotor the pad may be compromised.
