There is a law that stops manufacturers from voiding your warranty solely because of aftermarket parts being installed, unless they can prove that the installation or malfunction of those parts caused the damage to the vehicle that you are trying to have covered under warranty. So on paper no, however, I'm quite sure that there are some cases where the manufacturer can spew some bullshit about how some harmless aftermarket install caused an issue and then void your warranty because of it, with your only recourse being a lawsuit that you can't afford and therefore isn't worth pursuing. Sort of like how cops can abuse "reasonable suspicion".

A remote start should be pretty safe though as long as its installed properly.
