Ordered a set of Corksport RMM Inserts.

Would I have liked to get a JBR RMM 70??? Hell ya! But because the wifey isnt quite on board with the modding yet... I went with the inserts. I couldnt justify to her spending $100+ for my car just yet. The limo tint was her idea and she justified it by saying that baby needs tint lol!

Anyway, after reading quite a bit of reviews, I figured that the inserts would be perfect for me.... for now.

Got the inserts from Corksport in the mail. My very first order from Corksport and I was pleasantly surprised...
I didnt know that Corksport went the extra mile to make me feel "special" :blushing:

They completely personalized my package! How cool is that?!?!?!

Nicely packaged item with color directions and warranty info.

Even included a CS Sticker! lol!

Installation with some pics and review to follow.

Looking good so far! Glad you liked the little note. The inserts are a solid improvement! Let me know if you ever need anything... heck if I had known you were ordering I would have personalized it myself!

Thanks Spencer! So it wasn't you who drew that heart?!?!
But seriously bro, it's the little things like that, that make a huge difference. Like you even replying to this thread makes Corksport not just a company but real people.

looks nice!!!
just wondering who sold you the car at browning mazda...?
The dealer that helped me was this tall Dolph Lundgren looking dude named Vit. He was cool and real soft spoken.

RedTape thinks we're cool!!:dancin 1:

... I should probably get around to a build thread of my own. We can compete for whose moves slowest. :(
No Leets.... I think YOU are COOL! :blushing:

Yea bro! At the rate Im going with mods, I'll have to resurrect this thread every time!

In fact I think the next mod will be your resonator deleted center pipe! LOLOLOL!!!!

Glad I'm real people. Though sometimes I have trouble with those anti-robot verification boxes.

Anyway, sorry to block up your Build thread, maybe I'll have to start one for my 09 MS3.
LOL! Me too! Sometimes cant read those things!
Heck ya you should start a build thread, Im sure everyone would love to know what you got going on!

Last week I met up with @Leets to nab that resonator deleted pipe that he had for trade.

Great guy by the way!

This past weekend I had a few hours in my new garage to tinker with my car and install Leets's pipe and my Corksport RMM inserts. Unfortunately my camera battery was dead so I couldnt take pics. I'll post some up later.

I absolutely love the way the pipe sounds on my car!!!
It gave it that extra growl that I have been craving without spending the bookoo bucks on a new CBE. LOL!!!

As for the RMM Inserts.... I absolutely love them too!
The engine response is awesome.
Before the inserts, when I would perform a hard launch (not a complete clutch dump), when shifting into 2nd gear I would hear a pretty loud bang! I knew it was the stock RMM. It just couldnt take the torque.
Now after the install, no more bang, or wheel hope and I can even chirp 3rd! LOL!
Vibrations are very minimal at idle, but I can feel more vibs through the pedals which gives me a nice foot massage while I drive.
Im sure that a full RMM 70+ duro would be even better, but for now... this is what I got!

Dude, need a vid with the resonator delete! I havent been able to sell my setup from the mazda 3, so I may have to sell just the axle back and use the midpipe for a resonator delete. Why didnt I think of that before?!

Ya bro! I gotchu! I'll try to hook up a vid in the morning of the cold start. It's nice and loud in the morning. I'll also contrast it with a warm rev and inside the cabin sound. Hopefully my sony nex will do the sound justice.

Actually it isn't that loud, it's definitely more noisy on cold starts but runs real subtle during normal driving. Very easy to quiet down if you roll up to a cop. Get on the gas and it really growls nice and deep.
Not bad for the kids too!
I tested it today when I picked up my 1 year old from grandmas. She slept the entire way home even when I got on the gas! But to be fair, my baby does sleep thru anything. Depends on the baby. My wife barely noticed until this morning when I started it! Lol!!!

Ya it totally gets me pumped all over again when I do little things to my car. Love it!
Internals eh? Going stage 2?

Not going stage 2 yet, just too paranoid to run my intake and tip without em lol. Dont wanna risk zzb at all!

So do u have a rear facing seat for your daughter? My 11 month old daughter is pushing 30 lbs, so we may just wait on a britax marathon and get a fwd facing one when she switches from rear facing.

Anyways, post a pic of the car seat in the speed, I wants to see it! Oh, and what brand as well please!

Get a Recaro! I just recently bought one for my 12-mo. old son. They're not cheap, but quality is top-notch, safety is unrivaled, and my son sweats a LOT less in it than his last Graco. ... oh and you get to tell everyone you installed a brand new Recaro in your car.

And Punk I may have to finally take that racepipe for the 2.5L off your hands. I'll hopefully be installing RedTape's resonated b-pipe soon.:clap 1:
