The rear parking sensors are no longer beeping when I go in reverse on my new Mazda 3. Camera works fine. Obviously, not a major issue but I would like them to make the sound again. Does anybody know how to correct this? Thanks for any help.

They never had a sound on mine. How do you activate the sound?

They only sound when a vehicle is crossing behind you....

OP,
i believe parking sensors are available outside of the north american market. the button is next to the drivers heated seat button. in NA, its a blank.
if you do have rear parking sensors that are not working, the get mazda to fix it if there is still warranty. if you have a North American model, the beeps are from cross traffic, its not a back up sensor.

Thanks for the info. I just got the car so the beeping I have been hearing must of been the cross traffic sensors.

Backup sensors are optional for the MY 2016 cars in North America. I don't know about earlier model years.
