Hello , I changed my rear brake pad on a mazda 3 2014 mexico built. But it has two small black clips in the box. I don't know where to put it and why. So I don't used it. Do you know how to use this and what is the purpose ? It a WAGNER ZD1679 brake pad. It have no picture of it on google, but you can see this small clips with BENDIX CFC1679 on google.

Thanks a lot

Those are the wear indicators. You clip them onto the corners of the inboard pads and when the pad gets near replacement the clips will contact the rotor. It will make a metal to metal noise alerting you that the pads need changing.

Thanks, the inner pab already have a built-in metal piece on it. I think this extra clip is useless lol.
