Hello all, First time Mazda owner, and I got a question...

So I have a 2013 Mazda 3 GX 2.0L and I had a friend tell me I can basically take the heating controls out and put a dual zone climate control center in from the GS, I'm curious if this is possible and if it will work?

the dual zone has extra mechanical components the regular does not go to Shop Mazda Parts Online in the Midwest ? Zoom Zoom Nation Parts and look at the a/c diagram for manual and auto climate controls this will give you an idea of shared parts and all the extra parts you will need, there should not be too much but there would be an extra blend door for the 2 sides to have separate temps and more components to allow auto control, but looking over these diagrams will give you an idea of what parts you need to make sure you have with your auto climate setup to make sure it works
