I didn't thought about it to search on an american site to order the parts .(my bad)

I'm from Europe and our websites where you can get the spare parts are shit in comparison to yours.
You have detailed drawings and part numbers.
Our "mazda dealers" have no clue about their own product...

Europe here. I am also interested in resolving this 'rivets issue' - need to take off grill hood cover. You wrote that dealer suggested alu rivets. Is it possible to ask for one and take measures before drilling?

Maybe if you find a good one.
I gave him my VIN and he told me they have "only" alu rivets.
I said the later models have plastic clips on the same spot, but he couldn't help me.
Maybe I should have asked him a something else.

I'll try it somewhere else , because I don't want to waste my time on these stupid clips.

I want to replace them with plastic clips.

Which dimensions do these pop up clips have ? (7mm)
I just want to know before I drill those rivets out.
hope this helps someone down the road according to manual they are 4.5 mm or 0.18” could not find that size bit locally amazon baby search 4.5mm drill bit got like 10 for $6 if u use different size manual says u can damage stuff so i spent 6$ get the right tool for the job please listen it only cost u more time and money when u use the wrong tool for the wrong job
