I'm trying to start the Mazda Toolbox application on my Mac, but it crashes almost instantly. The reason it's crashing is because of a server error that occurs when the app tries to check if there is a new version of the app (the error isn't handled properly, so the app crashes).

Anyone having the same problem? FWIW, I'm using the latest version of the application.

More technical info: the app makes an HTTP GET request to http://zippy.naviextras.com/services/selfie/rest/1/update, which returns a 405 response ("Method Not Allowed"). Because of this, the app tries to show a dialog, but it does so on the wrong thread, which crashes the app:

Code:
2017-10-12 10:39:07.075 Mazda Toolbox[73397:10765166] *** Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSGenericException', reason: '-[NSAlert beginSheetModalForWindow:modalDelegate:didEndSelector:contextInfo:] may only be invoked from the main thread. Behavior on other threads is undefined.'

The hostname zippy.naviextras.com resolves to two IP-numbers for me: 80.249.174.80 and 80.249.174.16.

Can you elaborate this? I've facing the same issue. Thanks!
In the system-wide network settings, I had an HTTP proxy server active, which was causing the problems. The proxy settings can be accessed (assuming that you're on a Mac) through System Preferences > Network > [the active network interface, typically "WiFi"] > Advanced > Proxies.
