Hi all,

The Mazda's new to me and my biggest gripe with it so far is the brightness level of the gauges/infotainment screen when you have the main lights on dip. The car automatically assumes you are driving at night, as all do, and lowers the brightness level, however the issue that arises is that I drive with the dips on 24/7, so during the day the readout is difficult to see.

Is there anyway of adjusting the brightness of this, or even setting it on a timer?

There's a little twisty knob in the upper right area of the speedo. Turn it.

Just to add to the above... the twisty knob only adjusts the brightness settings when the lights are on.

Thanks guys. When I was looking around, I thought that was for resetting the trip, which it also is.

yes, it is same knob for setting up the trip. I once find out when i turn the knob on the first night getting my mazda 3.
