HI all,

my dog has chewed the extreme left part of my plastic body kit on my mazda 3. theres lot of teeth scratch over 5 cm and also few holes. is there a way that it can be restored?

its only the pic when all was ok. just to show you how the front lip is. checked for 1 on ebay from US and it costs around 170 USD to be brought to Mauritius island. will be around 6000 rupees. will be too expensive. maybe need to sand it and apply plastic resin or any other paste that suits.

My guess would be to take it off, sand the affected areas, apply filler/bondo for plastic as necessary, sand again, wash the lip, and then paint it (either professionally or carefully with uv-resistant gloss black paint enamel with a clearcoat layer or two.)

Flexible body parts like that need flexible filler and paint, don't use standard stuff.
