Hi All,

Today I wanted a more professional way to paint my U in the Grill. So I used these directions to take off my bumper

2014 Mazda 3 Bumper Removal

Then I was able to set the bumper down and figure out how to take the U off. if you have enough knowledge to follow the directions then i think you can get the U off. The hard part is that the U has clips that you have to press out of the back that is sandwiched between the bumper and the grill where your plate and badge are. Once you get the two piece you off i was able to paint them with about fish coats of a matte black plasti dip (as seen below). After the plasti dip i added 2 coats of metallic gold spray paint. Then did the fog light rings and badge the same. Then assembled it back together and here it is.. LET ME KNOW IF YOU WANT MORE PICS

Also i was able to mount my PA Horn near right fog light so it is louder

Can you please post a pic of the front end of the car with the U trim dipped. I also want to dip mine and really want to see how it looks on the car.
Thanks!
