Granted, I have an auto and it’s the sedan, I bought a carbon fiber trim piece to put over it. Purchased it off eBay.

 

It's also a pretty easily removed part. Side trims just pull off, same with cupholder/cubby. Detach a few harnesses, remove the shift knob and it's out. Once you do that, its only a couple of screws here and there to remove the shift boot and switch assemblies. This leaves an easy to wrap piece. Choose your vinyl. I went with Vvivid Demon Black. It has a small amount of red metallic fleck in it that matched up nicely with the Garnet leather.
