I'm looking to black out the chrome V on the front nose.

Was looking around and can't find any guides to removing it properly.

its a 2015 SP25GT. has anyone done this? or know where I can find a guide?

Thanks!

"chrome V" ??? Do you mean the chrome trim that boarders the grill? Just mask it off with tape and spray it with Plasti Dip.

Will have to give that a go.

Was thinking that it wouldn't be to hard to remove and do it properly.

But I think i'll give this a go!

Thanks!
Good luck. It's not too bad. Just make sure you take your time masking it off. Took me about 1 hour. 3 light coats followed by 4 heavy ones. Post some pics!

Thanks, yeah I will take my time with it for sure.

Being im in Australia it will take me a week or two to order it online as the prices in stores for plasti-dip are crazy high. $35AUD a can kinda high

Overall I think it is easier to vinyl wrap it than dipping it because it takes a long time to properly mask everything off lol When I first wrapped mine with gloss black vinyl it took me a couple tries and roughly about 20 minutes to do :D

You have to take off the front bumper, then there should be a screw on the bottom in the middle of the grill holding them in, unscrew this, then on the top there are two more screws on each side holding in the top of the chrome. I will take pics later when i take them off myself.
