**I'm not sure if this where i should post, admin move it if it's not at the right place**

Hello y'all who's driving a mazda 3 gen 3 hatchback or sedan that did NOT come with paddle shifter, recently i did my research and search everywhere online to add on paddle shifters for my Mazda i-touring and it was surprisingly easy to find and to even install, i made a video on youtube and i thought it will help the ones who's been wanting one of it. I'll link the video here so y'all can check it out. If there's any question feel free to ask! Yes it works for Mexican made or Japan made which one of the viewer confirmed with me. Also as long you're not having the 2017 model new steering wheel, this should work for y'all. Take note that the link i provide y'all to buy say CX-5 RETRO FIT, but don't worry it works 100%

Link is here, you'll need to put them together as i have insufficient post in this forum ): www youtube com/watch?v=L5Psi1rgQZU

apparently the company that sells the complete kit is out of stock.

is there a DIY, so you buy the mazda oem parts and do the wiring yourself.???

Did it on our M2 DJ a while back. It's not really difficult once you have the paddles, harness, clockspring needed. Had to custom mill the mount, grab a kodo Mazda-specific hub boss & the necessary SRS resistors for my preferred app...

Had to grab a clockspring w/ pins for paddle harness as the M2DJ came without. Not all would require this part.

For the steering back cover, please search for corresponding matches. The BM & BN have different wheels.
For DIY, there are great CX5 paddle guides all over.
Hope this helps! Enjoy!

Just for reference. These are what I got for my 2015 Mazda 3:

BHT1-66-3P0 Paddle Switch
BNK8-66-4M2 Wire Harness
BHN9-32-049C-02 Rear Cover
BHN9-32-750 Parts Set Seat Wheel

The only thing I want to mention is the last item "Parts Set Seat Wheel". Somehow I imagine the price was for a set of 4 screws because it cost $15 to $20 depending on where you got it from. No, it is ONE screw. You need four to secure the Paddle Switch to the steering wheel. After some research, I believe it is the size M5-0.8 Stainless Steel Pan-Head Machine Screw. You can get 4 for $2 - $3 from a hardware store.

You were able to get it to work? I’ve watched a couple of videos and it doesn’t look like the 3s need the wiring harness but instead three separated wires that you plug in?
