Hi everyone! My 2019 3 (20433 mi) threw a P0087 code (Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too Low) yesterday. The dealership can't get me in until Monday and this is my DD so I am hoping to reach anyone who has gotten this code resolved. Hoping it is a sensor or something super easy I can fix ASAP. I am thinking I. am still under warranty for this one but I don't want to have to steal my wife's car since we have 2 kiddos.

HPFP replacement is not a simple or easy job. FP sensor or low pressure (in tank) fuel pump wouldn't be too difficult, but the big problem for a DIYer is that there's no easy way to diagnose which of those is the issue, and less likely things such as a partially collapsed fuel line can't be ruled out either. IMO it's likely to be a big mistake to do anything on your own while your vehicle is covered under warranty. But as always, your vehicle your choice.
