Hello everyone and Happy Holidays!

I would like to kindly ask for your advise :)
What do you think about these 2 wheel options for my car:

1-OZ Leggera HLT

Diameter: 18"
Width: 8"
Offset: 45
Weight: N/A
Bolt Pattern: 5 * 114.3
Color: Race Grey / Grigio Corsa

2- OZ Ultraleggera

Diameter: 18"
Width: 8"
Offset: 35
Weight: Approx 18.4 Pounds/Wheel
Bolt Pattern: 5 * 114.3
Color: Matt Dark Graphite

Do you think with the parameters given any of the two options will work perfeclty on Stock Dunlops and Suspension? Is the offset of the 2 wheels problematic?

Finally I'm planning to stay with 18" since I want to conserve the same mileage and fuel consumption and tire size, therefore didn't opt for 19" Rims and tires (Sorry If I sound too noobish 0:) )

So if everything works, which one should I get? :)

Waiting for you input and thanks!!!

Happy New year!!! :smile2::grin2:

Personally I like both. A little confused however, for when I just checked on TireRack, they are not showing the OZ Leggera HLT's in anything but 17's and 19's. Maybe you have found a different source for the HLT's?

I am not a Mazda 3 offset specialist by any means, but you can fill in the different offset amounts in this linked calculator and get a sense as to what the different offset's would result in on your car., e.g., back spacing, moving your wheels inward/outward, etc.

Hi @Road Trip, thanks for your input! Indeed the HLT's are from a different provider therefore they don't show up in TireRack, the offset is 45mm, which should be ok right?
I'm planning to stay with Stock Dunlops for now until I'm able to find some Michelin Pilot Sport 3 A/S+ in my area, but if I would change tires, what is the best tire recommendation which won't impact my mileage? I think the wheels provide the look, but I don't want to mess with the mileage or actual speedometer by going with different tire size! :)

@minsanity, thanks for the input, indeed 35mm offset requires some work, so that is not an option anymore!
@lovemynew3 sent you pm :)

Finally, what did you guys do with your OEM wheels? and which color suits best the Titanium Flash Mica Color :)?

You're from Israel? Awwwesome! Welcome:) I know a special person that once lived over there, so it gets me excited if and when I hear that someone is from over there.

In regards to what color.... I would stick with a silver/aluminum finish. It would add contrast to the Titanium color, which is always good. And I don't think you could go wrong with either choice of wheels. Both are sharp, yet have some nice curves, just like the Mazda3. Ultraleggeras have been out for quiet some time, yet still have a "futuristic" design (sharp lines), and won't be going out of style for a long time. The Leggeras are a little bit more rarer, which is always a good thing too. Again, can't go wrong with either:)

Looking forward to seeing your car in the future!

@ELegend3 , nice to hear you have a special person here in Israel :), if you ever come around this area, shoot me a message and I'll be more than happy to meet and show you around :)

So guys, I finally did it, first of all thanks for you input, pictures and suggestions, now I really understand better the dynamics of a wheel lol!

So which one I chose? I went with the OZ Leggera HLT!

Let me tell you I love this wheels! I also love the original OEM as they fit super too but they are so heavy! (Also OEM Wheels appear to be bigger)
From OE weight I went from approx. 26-27 pounds to 18.6-19 pounds. I cut approx. 7-8 pounds per corner.
This feels great in the car and the ride quality even improved. The steering wheel is lighter, more responsive and even softer as well.Acceleration feels a bit faster too!
The Leggera's look great, feel great, are great! These wheels are 45mm offset which does not cause any problems or rubbing!
If the wheels would have come in dark finish I would have considered to buy those instead but Grigio corsa looks sharp!!!

In the end I did not chose the Ultraleggera's since the offset 35mm was problematic, they also look very good but in my opinion the Leggera's look a lot better! I'll clean my car tomorrow and I'll post more pics!!!

Also if anyone can suggest which tire size would make this wheel look even better I'm open to options!!!

Once again thanks everyone here for your support and help!!! :)

Looks Great Mr Davidval! I just got wheels... And I even questioned... Why didn't I get those wheels? haha

But yes, perhaps one day (within the next 2-3 years) I will go over to Israel! I will definitely let you know if and when. I'd really like to visit over there:)

Holy Sh**,

I just realized something, how do I know if the OEM TMPS was swapped to the new wheels?
I just remembered and noticed that the OEM wheels still have the air valve on them...(I stored the wheels not in my house, so I have no reachability to check it now)

It never occurred to me that I needed to swap the sensors from the wheel..but I'm not sure if the guy that installed the wheels placed them on the new wheels...or if the OZ Rims came already with some TMPS system...

Anyhow how do I check that the TMPS is working properly? can anyone clarify please?

Thanks!
