Since my car was totaled I was planning on getting another gen 2 but none of the ones in my area have the touch screen that I miss from my MZ3 IGT tech package. Would the OEM touch screen be plug and play?

Did you ever find an answer to this? I have a 2012 S Grand Touring with the tech package and would like to install the 2013 touch screen version. I want to be sure everything remains functional.

i would go for after dash kit around $60 and decent brand stereo with steering control key wire, as it analogue control 2 wires only, if its bose hard wire ur rca and power up amplifier control done.
