Hi all,

i changed my front brake pads 3 week Ago , but since a couple of days i've got a problem , à metalic noise.

I already dismound and remound everithing twice but i cant' find where the problem is.

The noise seems to be exactly the same than the one on this youtube video

In the commentary of the vid , someone speak about something that you can remount in wrong way , but i can't find what is it ...

The noise only happen when braking , and it's seems to be in left front wheel

Can you help me ?

Thx

Maybe one of the retaining clips for the pads is scraping against the rotor when you brake? This might be a silly question but you did fully push the brake pistons all the way back before placing the new pads right?

Hi , problem is solved.
After driving a few more KM , the Noise become more important , and finaly i notice that it come from the rear brake and not the front.
Rear brake pad was dead, after changing them = no more noise.

Thx all

Hi,
My 2016 Mazda 3 GT seems to occasionally have a rattle which sounds like a tailpipe rattling against the underneath of the car. Anybody heard of that one?
Bob.
