FINALLY.

After searching for a solution that gave me all of the custom options that I was looking for (angled tips, double walled rolled tips, titanium tips...) - I saw that Ultimate Racing just released their new Performance Muffler.

No option for a full cat-back currently, but any exhaust shop should be able to build you a heavier duty cat to axle pipe to match up.

Arrived

Installed and tucked close to the body

Sound Clip located HERE!

Looks good, like a much beefier stock tip.
Have you heard any sound clips on how it sounds prior to buying?

Nope. I've heard other 3's and MS3's with mufflers from Ultimate before, and thought very highly of them.

I will record a clip or two when it comes in and gets bolted on.

Can't you just buy something and not tell us about it.... You're costing me too much money lol

Cant wait for the sound clip.

I searched so long for a quality solution that offered an angled titanium exit, even going so far as to offering a shop a large stipend to import the Blitz Ti-C exhaust for me...

Glad that I don't have to go that way, and I like to think I'm not the only one searching for the "perfect" solution -

*image is slant tip titanium on a white GTI, but you get the point.

plus, SPEND!

Nice, will be interesting to hear what other exhausts have to offer.
Only issue I would have is that those look like canister mufflers, which would probably be a bit loud for my taste.
Same reason I didn't go with the corksport exhaust. More of a fan of oval mufflers, it's a bit more subtle and pleasing.

I had some concerns as well, but think a resonated test pipe should even it out.

As I build the exhaust, I'll be posting a few clips along the way. Hopefully it helps.

Very nice. How much did you spend if you don't mind me asking.

$450 + $145 for the Ti finishing with an angled exit.

Plus some shipping and handling.

That actually sounds really nice.
A bit louder than I'd like but it's definitely a nice sound and not annoying. I could live with it.

Updated with a better video clip of the sound.
Thanks Loud, that sounds amazing.
Nice deep low rumble without the rasp. Notice any drone? How is noise in the cabin now? Is this axle-back the only thing don't to your exhaust?
