Hi my name is Dave. I've had my Mazda 3 hatchback for about 1 1/2 yrs now. I joined this forum because of what I discovered recently. I was having trouble using my iPhone 6. When I tried to use Maps I was not getting voice instructions while navigating on a trip most of the time. Occasionally it would work but mostly not. My phone would be plugged into the usb port most of the time. Well one day I thought that I'd try my wife's charger in my car, plugged into the cigarette outlet with the iPhone and it would work that way! The key is that the voice would be muted while I was plugged into the usb port. Everything else in the p[hone would work except the voice! Hope that this tidbit of info. will help someone out there.
