I just picked up my first Mazda last night (3 hatchback, grand touring) and with just 65 miles on it I have an orange wrench indicator light. I checked the manual and it says it means that service is due, but that's not possible with 65 miles. Any thoughts? I apologize if this is covered in another thread. I'm still trying to figure out the navigation of the board.

It was not reset during PDI

It's service reminder and not CEL

If you really want it off swing back by the dealer they can reset it for you

you can reset it yourself through the screen menus, but given it's a new car, and if you can be bothered, take it back to the stealership and get them to show you how to do it

after all, it should have been done by them in the first place

it will also give you time to ask any other questions that have popped up since collecting it

DIY - from memory, go to left most icon (Applications) then each of the 3 options gives you the ability to set the next warning....

Thanks, Oscargamer and Studum. Resetting worked! Wrench is gone. It wasn't a big deal that is was there but who wants a brand new car with a warning light!
